Dr. Gloria Jung
Dr. Gloria Jung, is our principal general dentist, who was born in Korea but grew up in Vancouver. Dr. Jung graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of General Science degree in 2012. Following her passion in dentistry, she decided to pursue a dental study at the University of Melbourne in Australia and completed Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degrees in 2016. She returned to Vancouver soon after graduating and began working in Maple Ridge. Meanwhile, Dr. Jung has established her philosophy in her pursuit of the ideal dental practice environment: a modern and comfortable practice committed to providing the excellent quality of dental care. Her search ultimately led her to opening a brand new dental office in Richmond. ​

Her dentistry takes inspiration from her love for art work. Since started practicing, Dr. Jung has completed several hundreds of hours in professional development ranging from Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Gloria Jung's loves all forms of dentistry, particularly Cosmetic and Botox. When doing her fillings she is very gentle and takes her time to color match and shape the fillings to make it life-like. Each fillings, veneers, and crowns are individually fabricated to match patients' personal and dental aesthetic needs.
She also very well known for her Botox, which is a client favorite. Many clients understand Botox technique to reduce wrinkles, but Botox can also assist in many dental concerns, such as TMJ/jaw pain, and headaches. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association and the BC Dental Association and College.
In her spare time, Dr. Jung enjoys spending time with her family, two cats and friends. She also loves trying new restaurants around the city and working out at the gym.

My name is Dr. Gloria Jung and I am a general dentist. I am the co-founder of Dentudio Dentists in Richmond, serving the Richmond community since 2018. With a strong passion for cultural diversity and vibrant atmosphere, I was naturally drawn to Downtown Vancouver, and created Lux Dental with Dr. Young Hoon Sul.
Born and raised in Seoul, Korea, my family immigrated to Canada when I was thirteen. I went to the University of British Columbia to obtain my Science degree, and went on to the University of Melbourne for Dentistry, graduating in 2016. My experience in Melbourne inspired me to bring style, artistry, and stable infrastructure to the Metro Vancouver dental scene, which led to the creation of Dentudio and Lux Dental. My journey as a dentist has been full of excitement with no lack of challenges, and I am forever grateful for the strong connections I have built with my partners, staff, and patients.
My ultimate goal in dentistry is to bring a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing smile to everyone who receives my dental services. As it gives me true satisfaction, I thrive to make that happen through not only regular dental care, but also through more specialized cosmetic treatments such as composite and ceramic veneers, Invisalign, and Botox.
I am also a firm believer that prevention is the key to oral health. A dental office should not be sought only when there is pain. I would love for you to look forward to coming for a dental appointment with us rather than being scared and anxious. I will always do my absolute best with honesty to make you feel well taken care of. With great detail and willingness to exceed your expectations, I promise to take you step by step to your oral hygiene goal.
Aside from dentistry, I have great interest in fashion, interior design, and cosmetics. I love working out and bodybuilding is another great passion of mine. When I am not in the office, you can expect to find me at a nearby Gym.
